App lock and optional location sharing
Use device unlock and understand how field location data is handled.
These controls apply after the phone app is released.
Lock the app
If the phone already has Face ID or fingerprint unlock, open More and turn on app lock. The phone asks for that check once. Return to More to turn the lock off.
Location sharing
Location sharing is optional. The app explains it before sharing starts, and the technician can continue or choose not now. If the explanation changes, the app asks again. A phone can hold up to 200 points while offline and upload them after reconnecting.
Signing out clears location-sharing data stored for that phone. Office users see a map point as old after three minutes without an update.
