What Featured placement means
See how paid placement works and when a listing qualifies.
Featured is a paid placement label, not a higher trust or review score. Search order and earned scores do not use the paid plan.
Plan limits
- Preferred: Featured in the home city and up to three other service-area cities.
- Premium: Featured in up to 10 cities, including the home city.
- Member and Listed: no Featured placement.
Qualification rules
Featured stays on only while the plan is active and the listing qualifies:
- The license on record must be active.
- The area must contain at least eight verified listings before paid spots are used.
- Preferred needs an average of 4.5 or higher after three reviews in the last 90 days.
- Premium needs at least five reviews in the last 90 days and an average of 4.7 or higher.
Preferred does not apply its rating rule until the listing has three recent reviews. If a Preferred or Premium listing stops qualifying, it has 30 days to qualify again. After that, it moves back to Member and Featured turns off. Pausing the plan also turns Featured off.
