Text allowances and segment counts
See what counts as a segment and compare the monthly text packs.
Automatic and other outbound texts are counted in segments. A normal segment holds 160 characters. A text with emoji or some other characters holds 70. A picture message counts as three segments.

The business receives a warning after using 80% of the month's allowance. Only the owner changes the pack under Usage & Billing.
